You took the first step and launched a website, created a Facebook page, perhaps even opened a Twitter account. Your website traffic, however, is negligible and you only have 20 followers on Twitter. What happened to the "Build it and they will come" theory?

Navigating the growing number of digital tools and learning how to use them to effectively market to and engage your customers can be daunting, even for those of us who have been around technology for years. The good news is that with a little effort you can learn to build a website and social channels that successfully market your "brand", help you educate and engage your customers, save time and money and, in general, make your life easier.

This session has been designed for distributors interested learning how to leverage their website and other digital properties to increase customer engagement. We will look at the elements of an effective website including overall design and usability, product research, virtual sampling tools, social sharing tools and more. We will also explore ways to use blogs, social media and email marketing to build relationships with your customers and keep them coming back for more.
